Homemade Big Tasty
Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to make. If you’re wondering what to serve, it can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, knead the most ordinary yeast dough. After it has risen, shape round buns from the dough and sprinkle them with sesame seeds.
- 2
Step 2

Bake the buns until done (about twenty minutes at 180°C), placing them on a baking sheet greased with sunflower oil.
- 3
Step 3

From pork and beef, make mince by running the meat through a meat grinder several times. Shape it into round patties and fry in a pan with oil for two to three minutes on each side.
- 4
Step 4

Prepare the sauce. To do this, simply mix ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard in a separate bowl. This sauce tastes as close as possible to its American counterpart.

Step 5

Now it's time to assemble the Big Tasties. Cut the buns in half and spread sauce generously on each side. Layer in order: the patty, a slice of cheese, lettuce leaves, onion rings, and tomato slices, then top with the other half of the bun.
