1. Cut the smoked bacon into small pieces. I'd like to point out right away that you can use absolutely any meat delicacies you have on hand.

2. Prepare a large skillet with high sides or another heavy-bottomed pot, such as a cauldron. Add the bacon and fry until golden brown.

3. While the bacon is frying, peel and chop the onion and carrot. Add the vegetables to the pan.

4. Add the sauerkraut. Gently mix and simmer over medium heat for about 10-12 minutes.

5. Shred the cabbage and salt it. If it's not very young, knead it well with your hands until the cabbage releases its juice.

6. Place the fresh cabbage into the frying pan or cauldron.

7. In a separate skillet, sear the meat cut into small pieces until a golden crust forms.

8. Prepare the spices: mix salt, sugar, ground black and red pepper, cumin, coriander, and other spices to taste.

9. Place the meat on the vegetables.

10. Add the spices and mix everything thoroughly.

11. Dilute the tomato paste with a small amount of water and add it to the pot. Mix once more and let it simmer over medium heat, covered, for 25–35 minutes.

13. Prepare the meat delicacies you have in your refrigerator.
