Pork steak
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Prepare all the ingredients. Thoroughly clean the pork from unwanted parts (film, connective tissue) and mince it. Mix the minced meat with chopped onion, mustard, spices, and cream. Form fluffy patties and fry them well in a skillet. Serve the finished dish.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

To prepare pork steak with mustard, we will need: pork, pork fat, onion, ground red pepper, mustard, ground black pepper, salt, cream, nutmeg, and refined vegetable oil.
- 2
Step 2

If necessary, clean the pork from connective tissues and membranes, then cut it into pieces together with the fat. There's no need to chop it finely, since it will still need to be passed through a meat grinder.
- 3
Step 3

Pass through a meat grinder, preferably using a coarse plate, so that we get a more or less proper ground meat, not a meat puree.
- 4
Step 4

On the other hand, we try to chop the onion as finely as possible, since we won't be passing it through a meat grinder, but will add it directly to the meat mixture, making the steaks more juicy.
- 5
Step 5

Add onion to the mince.
- 6
Step 6

Add mustard, nutmeg, black and red ground pepper to the same mixture. Season with salt to taste and pour in the cream.
- 7
Step 7

Thoroughly mix the minced meat.
- 8
Step 8

Using hands greased with refined vegetable oil, shape small, not too thick patties of uniform size into a flattened round shape.
- 9
Step 9

Sear the steaks on a hot skillet on both sides until a golden-brown crust forms. Do not add oil or fat while cooking. Serve the pork steaks hot with mustard, accompanied by a vegetable salad or any side dish of your choice.
