Beefsteak with mushrooms

Description

The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Cut the prepared beef across the grain, then pound the pieces and shape them into ovals, seasoning with salt and pepper. Spread the pieces with mustard and fry them in oil. Slice the potatoes into rounds, then fry them together with onion cut into half-rings, seasoning with salt and pepper. For the sauce, boil the chanterelles, then roughly chop them and sauté in oil with the remaining finely chopped onion, adding salt, pepper, and sour cream. Simmer everything for 2–3 minutes. Place the potatoes and crouton onto a plate. Put the steak on the crouton. Garnish the dish with pickled cucumbers, and serve the sauce separately. The finished dish is ready to be served.
