Mexican-style steak

Description

Mexican-style steak is very easy to prepare. The dish is based on meat and vegetables. Tequila and tortillas go well with the steak. Cooking the steak doesn't take long.

    1. First, choose a good piece of meat for our dish. Once the meat is selected, prepare it for frying. Remove any sinews and rinse the meat under water. Now cut the meat into steaks (be sure to cut across the grain), then brush each piece with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper. Place the meat onto a well-heated, dry frying pan and start frying. The outside should be nicely seared while the inside remains pink. Fry for approximately ten minutes.

    2. When the meat is ready, transfer it to a plate and place it in a warm spot (you can put the plate with meat on a pot with hot water) to keep the meat from cooling down.

    3. Now it's time to prepare the vegetables. Take a few tomatoes, wash them, cut into wedges, and add them to the other vegetables. Simmer everything together in a skillet for about five minutes. The vegetables should become slightly soft.

    4. Place the steak on a plate, put the vegetables on top of the meat, garnish well with herbs, and serve.
