Beef steak fried in a pan

Description

Beefsteak is made exclusively from beef, which is exactly why it's called that way (English "beef" means beef). And if you've ever cooked beef, you know it's not easy. Very often it turns out tough, chewy, and completely tasteless. To cook a proper steak, you need to know how to choose the right meat. Use only fresh meat, preferably from the leg or back muscles; you can also take a piece from the tenderloin. This cut will turn out the juiciest and most tender. You shouldn't marinate the meat for steak—simply season the piece with salt and pepper, and optionally add some favorite spices or mustard. That's it—now all that's left is to sear the meat. There are five degrees of doneness—from rare (bleu) to well done. My personal favorite is medium well: the steak is almost fully cooked, with a crispy crust on the outside and slightly pink, very tender inside. Next, read my recipe.

    Prepare the meat. I bought two ready-cut pieces of beef tenderloin, specifically intended for cooking steaks.
