Description

The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Many cultures have long been baking similar bread flatbreads using sour milk, which only confirms their popularity. The Indian version includes the addition of seeds. Bhatura can be sprinkled with kalonji (nigella seeds or black cumin) or sesame seeds.

    Prepare the necessary ingredients.

    Extinguish the soda in sour milk. Mix flour, salt, and sugar, add the sour milk, and knead the dough. If the dough is too soft, add more flour; if it's too thick, add more sour milk.

    Grease your hands with vegetable oil and knead the dough once again.

    Sprinkle the work surface with flour. Divide the dough into 8 equal parts and roll into balls. Roll each ball into a 15 cm diameter flatbread. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and lightly roll over with a rolling pin.

    Heat the oil in a skillet. Place the flatbread in the oil and fry for 1-2 minutes on each side.
