
Meringue with jam
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The great thing about this meringue is that it turns out different each time, depending on the jam used. I use apricot and orange jam, which gives the meringue a slight tanginess. You can pipe the egg whites using a pastry bag or simply with a spoon. Serve chilled.

Prepare the ingredients.

Carefully separate the egg whites and beat them into a deep bowl.

Beat slightly. Gradually increase speed and add sugar in small portions.

Whites need to be beaten until stiff, firm peaks form.

Bake the meringue at 130-140 degrees for about 2 hours. Then turn off the oven and leave the meringue inside with the door slightly open until completely cooled.
