
Meringues with nuts
Description
The recipe won't take much time. A recipe for meringue with nuts. Such desserts are very popular in France. You can use any nuts when making meringue, but walnuts are the best choice. Serve chilled.

1. Separate egg yolks from egg whites and start beating the whites on low speed. For easier beating, the whites should be at room temperature. (You can also add a pinch of salt or half a teaspoon of lemon juice.)

2. Continue beating, gradually increasing the speed. Beat until a thick white foam forms (soft peak stage).

3. Gradually add powdered sugar (or fine granulated sugar) while continuing to beat at high speed.

4. We whipped the mixture until it became a thick white mass with a slight sheen; it should hold its shape well. Whipping takes about seven to eight minutes.

5. Shell the walnuts, cut them into small pieces, and add to the whipped mixture. Mix well.

6. On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, place the mixture using a piping bag or simply with a spoon. Put the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 100 degrees Celsius for two hours. Then transfer the finished meringue onto a serving plate.
