Blueberry cake without yeast
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. I used to rarely bake with berries because they always "spread out" and ruin the appearance of the baked item. But someone suggested this simple recipe for a yeast-free blueberry cake that, thanks to the use of starch, keeps the berries whole and gives them a jelly-like texture. Try it—it's delicious!

1. Mix the flour with sugar. Grate the butter and mix it with the flour. It should form crumbs.

2. Pour in the water and quickly knead the dough. Refrigerate for half an hour.

Step 3

3. For now, mix the blueberries with starch and sugar. Take out the dough, pinch off 1/3, and roll out the rest into a flat layer. Spread the berry mixture over the top. Tear the remaining dough into strips and arrange them over the berries in a lattice pattern.

4. Bake in a preheated oven for about half an hour. Let cool and the pie is ready to serve!
