
Yeast-free dough for cabbage buns
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. The dough is kneaded in 5 minutes, and while it's "resting," you can prepare the filling. The buns are easy to shape, and you can add plenty of filling. Enjoy baking! Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt, and mix.

Mix the eggs, sour milk, and water, gradually add the flour, and knead a soft dough. Cover it with a bowl, and prepare the filling: chop and stew the cabbage with carrots, onion, and bell pepper.

Divide the dough into two parts, roll each part into a sausage, cut into pieces, roll out into flatbreads, place the filling, and pinch the edges.

Fry these buns in a large amount of fat. Heat vegetable oil or fat in a skillet. Reduce the heat to medium and fry the buns on both sides until golden brown. Cover the cooked buns tightly and let them cool slightly to keep them soft.
