No-yeast dough for cabbage pie
Description
If you love cabbage pies baked in the oven as much as I do, then you'll definitely enjoy this recipe. It's also very simple to prepare. You don't need to worry about the dough not rising, as sometimes happens with yeast dough, because dough made with sour milk or kefir always turns out perfectly. Find out more below. Can be served with tea or coffee.

Step 3

Mix the flour with baking powder and add it to the kefir. Basically, you'll need as much flour as the dough can absorb. Therefore, add the baking powder to the first portion of flour, then add more flour as needed. The dough should turn out soft and not sticky to the hands.

The dough is ready to use. You can make an aromatic pie, soft buns, or even simply bake a pancake in a skillet.
