
Non-alcoholic grog
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. This fragrant and tasty non-alcoholic grog can be served at any time of day, even to children. The beverage is vibrant and healthy, as it contains honey. Those who are allergic to honey can substitute it with sugar, syrup, or topping. The drink's shelf life is no more than 2–3 hours.

Prepare the listed ingredients.

Pour the tea leaves into the container in which you plan to prepare the grog. If desired, you can replace loose tea with 2 tea bags, but use only classic black tea without any additives. Add cinnamon sticks and star anise to the container as well.

Boil the water and pour it into the container. Leave for 10-15 minutes to steam.

Slice a quarter of a lemon into pieces and remove the seeds. Add the slices to the container. Optionally, you can slice a sweet variety apple, remove the seeds, and add it to the brewed tea.

Pour the non-alcoholic grog into cups or glasses, cool to 30 degrees, and then add honey—no earlier, otherwise the sweet ingredient will lose its beneficial properties!
