Beef beshbarmak
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The classic recipe for beshbarmak traditionally calls for horse or lamb meat—these meats have always been used by Kazakhs throughout history. However, these types of meat have quite a specific taste, and we aren't really accustomed to them. Let's prepare beshbarmak with beef instead—it will turn out just as delicious and filling. I offer you a beef beshbarmak recipe with photos. Beshbarmak can be arranged on a large serving platter, in which case the broth is served separately. Alternatively, you can serve individual portions in bowls and pour the broth over each one—choose the method you prefer. Cooking is quite easy, and I hope you'll enjoy the result. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

For cooking, it's better to use pork belly, as it will make the broth richer. Cut the meat into pieces, rinse, and place in a pot. Pour in water and start boiling.

Step 2

Peel the carrot and onion. Cut the carrot into several pieces and make a few cuts on the onion. Once the meat starts boiling, skim off the foam and add the vegetables to the pot. Cover the pot with a lid, reduce the heat, and cook until the meat is tender, about 2 hours. At the end of cooking, add salt and ground pepper to taste.

Step 3

Let's prepare the dough. To do this, beat the eggs with water and salt in a deep bowl. Add flour and knead the dough. It should turn out quite firm.

Step 4

We put the finished dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, and in the meantime, peel and chop the onion.
- 5
Step 5

For convenience, divide the dough into several parts. Roll out each part very thinly in turn. The thickness of the dough should be about 2-3 mm.
- 6
Step 6

Cut the dough sheets into rhombuses or squares. Size - 5-7 cm. Leave them on the table to dry slightly.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the cooked meat from the broth and cut it into small pieces. Pour hot broth over the prepared onion.
- 8
Step 8

In boiling broth, cook the pieces of dough for 5-7 minutes and place them on a large plate. Sprinkle with onions on top.

Step 9

Then we place the meat and sprinkle it with chopped herbs. You can also make a spicy sauce for beshbarmak. Mix finely chopped garlic, chili pepper, and add a tablespoon of vinegar and soy sauce. Very delicious :)
