White sauce with sour cream
Description
Universal dressing for salads and hot dishes. You can omit the garlic if you plan to interact with people or return to work after lunch. The sour cream sauce can be stored for up to one day when kept refrigerated. Feel free to experiment with paprika, turmeric, etc. Serve the sauce with meat, fish, or use it as a salad dressing.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use sour cream of any fat content, and garlic: green, fresh, or dried ground.
- 2
Step 2

Place the sour cream into the blender or food processor bowl. You can use sour cream of any fat content and variety, including seed-based sour cream (vegan), if desired.
- 3
Step 3

Add the seasoning to the container. If it already contains salt, do not add extra salt.
- 4
Step 4

Rinse and chop the green garlic stems or peel fresh cloves, pressing them into a container. If you decide to substitute them with ground dried garlic, you will need approximately 1/2 tsp.
- 5
Step 5

Wash the parsley or dill, shake off excess moisture thoroughly, and chop the herbs. Add to the container.
- 6
Step 6

Blend everything with an immersion blender for 2 minutes to make the sauce consistency as smooth as possible.
- 7
Step 7

Transfer the sauce to a small bowl or sauce dish and let it chill for 20 minutes to allow the garlic flavor to become more pronounced. Then serve. Enjoy your meal!
