Belyashi in a multicooker

60 min4 serv.21 февр. 2026 г.

Description

Perfect with tea and coffee. First of all, you need to start preparing the dough. You can make the dough using any favorite recipe or buy it in advance at the store. I decided not to waste time making homemade yeast dough and chose a yeasted‑free kefir dough for the pastries. This dough is a great alternative to the usual yeast dough, it prepares very quickly and is convenient to work with. The pastries made from this dough turn out very tender, airy and juicy. And another important point about making the pastries – they should be fried at the highest temperature the multicooker can reach. If your helper cannot reach at least 160 °C, it is better to avoid frying the pastries in it and cook them in a skillet. Serve warm or cooled. Perfect with tea.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    Prepare all the ingredients.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Pour the kefir into a deep bowl, add the leavening agent, and stir.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Add the egg and vegetable oil.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Mix everything again, add 1–2 pinches of salt, and gradually incorporate the flour.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

First mix everything with a spoon, then knead the dough by hand. The amount of flour may be a little more or less than indicated in the recipe; the finished dough should be sufficiently firm and elastic. Cover it with a towel and let it “rest” for 20–30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

In the meantime, prepare the filling. Add salt, ground black pepper, onion diced into small cubes to the minced meat and mix everything well.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Let's start shaping the pirozhki, and in the meantime pour oil into the multicooker bowl to a depth of at least 1 cm and set the mode to “bake” or “fry”. While we are shaping the pirozhki, the oil will heat up. Divide the dough into 10–14 pieces, roll each piece with a rolling pin into a flat disc, place a little meat filling in the center, and shape the pirozhki in any convenient way.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Place the beleshes with the sealed side down and fry the items with the lid open, about 5–7 minutes per side.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

The dough should become fluffy, soft, and acquire an appetizing golden color. Transfer the ready belyashi onto a plate and immerse a new batch in oil.

  10. 10

    Step 10

    Step 10

Serve the belyashi hot with fresh vegetables, tea, milk, or sauces.
