Description

The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Belyashi with tomatoes and cheese are very budget-friendly, yet delicious and filling. That's why I highly recommend making them. You'll always have a tasty snack on hand! Note that you can vary the filling to your taste. Hard cheese can be replaced with creamy cheese, processed cheese, or mozzarella. You can also add your favorite herbs, etc. For now, check out my recipe. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Dissolve the yeast, sugar, salt, and a little vegetable oil in warm milk (about 35 degrees).

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Then gradually add the flour in small portions and mix with a spoon. Keep adding flour until it becomes difficult to stir the dough with a spoon. Then transfer the dough onto a working surface and knead it; it should be slightly sticky to the hands but very soft.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Leave the dough for 30-60 minutes to let it rise. It's very convenient to use a multicooker for this purpose. If your multicooker doesn't have a separate "Dough Rising" function, simply select the "Multicook" mode and set the temperature to 35°C for 30 minutes. During this time, the dough will rise perfectly, increasing in size by 2 or even 3 times, becoming soft and fluffy.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Finely chop the tomato and grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Mix the tomatoes with the cheese.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Divide the dough into 8 parts. Roll each part into a ball and flatten it thinly. Place a small amount of filling in the center.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

Now pull the edges of the dough upward and secure them in such a way that a small hole remains in the center.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. When the oil starts to crackle slightly, it's ready for frying. Place the belyashi opening-side down and fry over medium heat for several minutes until golden brown.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

The belyashi with tomatoes and cheese are ready. Enjoy them hot!
