Belyashi with Meat (Master Class)

Description

Perfect with tea and coffee. My friend gave me this recipe, and now it's my favorite way to make meat-filled belyashi. The dough turns out absolutely delicious! With this dough, I also make fruit and berry-filled buns fried in a pan, as well as savory buns with cabbage and potatoes—always very tasty. But the tastiest of all are definitely the belyashi, because what could be better than a meat filling (says this dedicated meat lover)? The baked goods are ready. Serve them at the table.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. You can use either fresh yeast or instant dry yeast. Warm the milk to a temperature of 35–38°C; it's very convenient to do this in the microwave (40–60 seconds is enough). Dissolve the yeast, salt, and sugar in the milk. Add the vegetable oil and mix well.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Then add the flour and knead a very soft, elastic dough. Do not add all the flour at once, as you may find you need less. Add the flour in portions and knead the dough thoroughly. Let the finished dough rise in a warm place for 30 to 60 minutes. During this time, it will double in volume and become very fluffy and tender.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Meanwhile, prepare the filling for the belyashi. If you bought meat, pass it through a meat grinder together with peeled onion. If you are using ready-made minced meat, chop the onion in a blender and add it to the meat. Then season the meat with salt and pepper to taste and mix thoroughly.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Divide the prepared dough into 10-12 portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then roll out thinly. Place a small amount of filling in the center.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Pull up the edges of the dough and pinch them together, leaving a small hole in the center so that the filling cooks evenly.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan until very hot. To check if the oil is hot enough, drop a small piece of dough into it; if it starts sizzling immediately, the oil is ready and you can begin frying the belyashi. Place the belyashi into the hot oil with the opening side facing down. Fry for several minutes over medium heat until golden brown.

The meat belyashi are ready. They are most delicious when hot, but can also be served cooled. Enjoy your meal!
