Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Add sugar and yeast to warm milk. Stir until completely dissolved.
- 2
Step 2

Into the bowl where we will prepare the dough, sift the flour. Add the yeast solution and the eggs mixed with salt.
- 3
Step 3

Add vegetable oil and knead the dough.
- 4
Step 4

Divide the dough into small balls and start working on the filling.
- 5
Step 5

Peel the onion and finely dice it. I recommend pressing the diced onion slightly so that it releases its juice.
- 6
Step 6

Add chopped onion, salt, and ground pepper to the minced meat. You can also add any other meat seasonings. Mix well.
- 7
Step 7

Grease the table and rolling pin with vegetable oil. Roll out the dough balls into flatbreads about half a centimeter thick, and place the prepared filling in the center of each.
- 8
Step 8

We shape the belyashi. I make them either triangular or round—it depends on my mood. The most important thing is to leave a small hole in the center.
- 9
Step 9

Fry the belyashi in well-heated vegetable oil. I pour about one and a half centimeters of oil into the pan. First, fry the side of the belyash with the hole and seams.
- 10
Step 10

Place the fried belyashi on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
