
Protein Cake with Chicken Breast

A tasty appetizer for any gathering. If you're "on" a diet, you probably know that your diet should mostly consist of low-calorie foods that contain a lot of protein. Eggs and chicken breast fall into exactly this category. To diversify your menu, find out, Serve with greens and sauce.

Pour clean drinking water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Add the chicken breast to the boiling water; rinse it first and trim away any membranes. Salt it and simmer for 30 minutes until cooked through. Let the meat cool, then cut it into small pieces.

Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk them with a whisk, as for an omelet. Salt them and add spices to taste if desired. In a non-stick frying pan, fry three omelet layers that will form the base of your little cake.

Now you need to prepare the cream for the cake. In a small bowl, mix cottage cheese that has been pressed through a sieve, then add kefir, finely chopped herbs, and garlic. Salt to taste and mix.

Place the omelet on a plate and spread it with a layer of cream made from cottage cheese and kefir. Top with a layer of boiled chicken. Then cover with another omelet. Repeat the procedure twice.

If desired, garnish the cake with herbs and sliced vegetables. Place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours so it can set. Serve at the table.
