
Beef Stroganoff in a Multicooker
Description

To prepare beef stroganoff, prepare the necessary ingredients.

Cut the meat into small strips.

Turn on the "Sauté" mode of the multicooker and heat the bowl until hot. Pour vegetable oil into the bowl and add the meat. Sauté the meat with the lid open for 3-5 minutes until it changes color.

Peel the onion, rinse it in cold water, and finely chop.

Juice will appear from the meat. Cover with a lid and leave the meat in "Frying" mode until all the juice evaporates.

Then add the chopped onion to the bowl. Fry everything together for 1-2 minutes.

Dust the meat with flour. Mix well.

Now add sour cream and tomato paste to the bowl. Add salt and spices to taste.

Pour in hot water. You can slightly increase the amount of water to have more sauce. Bring everything to a boil. Close the lid of the multicooker and switch it to the Stewing mode. The younger the animal was, the faster the meat will cook. Let the meat simmer for 40–45 minutes. Then you can test it for tenderness.
