
Beef Stroganoff in Lavash
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This appetizer is quick and easy to prepare if you know a few tips. I'll share them in the recipe. Serve hot.

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Wash the meat and dry it. Cut the meat into thin slices (5 mm) across the grain. Slice the meat into thin strips. Peel the onion and cut it into thin quarter-rings.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Place the meat in a single layer so it sears quickly and evenly, and the meat juices stay inside. Sear the meat for 2-3 minutes until a golden crust forms, then transfer it to a plate. Sear the next batch of meat.

Add a little butter, heat it up, and sauté the onion until golden brown.

Add the flour, mix and fry for 1 minute.

Add the sour cream and tomato paste, mix well. Pour in the hot water, heat for half a minute.

Place the meat in the sauce, season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix and simmer for 5 minutes until the meat is tender.

Cut the lavash in half. Place 2-3 lettuce leaves in the center of each half. Top with some meat. Fold in the edges and roll up into a roll.

Warm the lavash in the oven at 180°C on a rack for 5 minutes.
