The recipe won't take much time. Beef Stroganoff is one of the classic dishes surrounded by legends, as is probably the case with any other famous dish. Legends usually revolve around the dish's origin and its subsequent popularity. Serve hot.

    1. First of all, beef (tenderloin, top sirloin, or eye of round) should be thoroughly washed and cleaned of tendons. Then slice the meat into pieces about 1.5–2 centimeters thick, making sure to cut across the grain. Next, pound these pieces to a thickness of about 0.5–1 centimeter, then cut them into thin strips.

    2. Slice the onion into half-rings. Then heat oil in a frying pan, add the onion, and sauté until semi-transparent.
