
Pork Beef Stroganoff

The recipe won't take much time. The classic beef Stroganoff recipe calls for beef. However, in some cases, you can prepare it with pork. Moreover, pork is more tender and cooks faster. Serve hot.

1. Wash the meat and pat it dry. Cut into 1.5 cm thick pieces. Pound the pieces well. This way the meat will cook faster and be more tender.

2. Cut each piece of meat into long strips. Add salt and pepper to taste. Set the meat aside for about two hours to marinate.

3. Meanwhile, prepare a delicious sauce for the meat. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet. Add flour and fry well until the flour darkens. Gradually pour in two cups of broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. When the broth comes to a boil, add mustard, sour cream, and tomato paste. You can also add a few allspice berries. In another skillet, melt the remaining butter and sear the marinated meat until browned. Finely chop the onion and add it to the meat. Transfer the meat with onion into the prepared sauce and mix well. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 30 minutes. This meat goes very well with mashed potatoes.
