Classic Beef Stroganoff

Description

This dish is very tasty, hearty, and nutritious, and the best part is that it can be served with any side dish. Beef stroganoff is considered especially delicious when paired with pasta or potatoes. You can prepare a large pot and use it as needed. Serve the dish hot.

    Wash the beef and cut it across the grain into small strips. Clean the mushrooms, wash them, and slice into pieces. Peel the onion and cut into thin half-rings, mince the garlic.

    Place butter in a skillet, melt it, then add onion, mushrooms, and garlic. Cook until the onion becomes soft, then transfer the mixture to a plate.

    Return the skillet to the heat and add the beef. Sear until a crust forms, then pour in 200 milliliters of broth, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.

    Mix the remaining broth with flour and pour it into the pan. Add the sautéed onion and mushrooms. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook for 1 minute, then pour in the sour cream and stir thoroughly with a spoon.
