Thighs in a multicooker
Description
The recipe for cooking thighs in a multicooker will appeal to those who enjoy unusual flavor combinations and don't mind a slightly sweet taste in chicken. In short, if you've previously enjoyed chicken marinated in honey, you'll like this combination too. However, if you prefer more bitter-spicy flavors, reduce the amount of prunes and add walnuts instead—they'll create an interesting taste effect when combined with prunes.

Step 1

1. Soak the prunes in boiling water beforehand and leave until the water has completely cooled: they should sit long enough to soften and swell. Wash the chicken thighs, dry them, rub with spices, and place in the multicooker bowl. Cook in "Frying" or "Baking" mode for 10 minutes.

2. Then add chopped onions and carrots (cut into pieces of any size, as you prefer). Cook in the same mode for another 15 minutes.

Step 3

3. In a separate container, mix sour cream, butter, tomato sauce, mustard, and spices. Pour the sauce over the chicken thighs. Add a little water on top, just enough to slightly cover the chicken. Simmer for one and a half hours. Thirty minutes before the end, add garlic and prunes.

4. At the very end, you can leave the chicken in "Bake" mode for 10-15 minutes so it browns nicely. This results in such a delicious dish—enjoy it yourself and share it with your guests!
