Baked chicken thighs
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Let's prepare a delicious dish where meat and side dish cook simultaneously, while the hostess won't get tired at all, since the oven does almost all the work. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash the chicken thighs. Remove the gland where the tail of the chicken was, remove any remaining feathers and large pieces of fat. Pat dry. Place in a bowl.
- 2
Step 2

Add spices to the meat to taste. Rub them well into the chicken skin. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Mix well. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

While the meat is marinating, peel the potatoes. Cut them into slices. They should be quite thin, otherwise they won't have time to bake through.
- 4
Step 4

Place the potatoes on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with spices and salt. Mix. Add a little vegetable oil.
- 5
Step 5

Place the chicken thighs on top of the potatoes (skin side up). Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees. Put the thighs into the hot oven. Bake the chicken thighs in the oven for about 40 minutes.

Step 6

Check the readiness of the dish by the doneness of the potatoes. If necessary, you can increase the baking time. If your chicken is browning too quickly, cover the baking sheet and its contents with a sheet of aluminum foil. This will trap steam inside the dish, helping it cook faster. The foil will prevent the chicken from burning.
