Basil Panna Cotta

420 min4 serv.19 февр. 2026 г.

Description

You can make basil panna cotta using any type of gelatin, but strictly follow the instructions, as different types have varying gelling strengths. If soaking is required, do it in milk according to the specified proportions. Basil panna cotta can be served with berries that don't overpower the basil flavor but complement it well, such as blueberries, bilberries, or raspberries. Serve the dessert directly in ramekins or glasses, or pour it into silicone molds, then unmold onto a plate once set.

Strain the mixture and return it to the saucepan. Heat gently to about 60°C, then gradually add the gelatin while stirring, and mix until completely dissolved. (My gelatin does not require soaking; follow the instructions for your type.) Strain once more, let it cool, pour into molds, and refrigerate for several hours until set.
