Baursaki
Description
The recipe won't take much time. There are many different ways to prepare baursaks—they can be sweet or plain, with filling or without, in general, various kinds. I suggest a fairly simple baursak recipe that you'll manage quickly and easily, resulting in very tasty, fluffy doughnuts perfect for a family tea party. So you can start calling your relatives and friends, while I tell you: serve them cooled down or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Place the eggs, vanilla sugar, and regular sugar into the bowl. Mix everything until a thick foam forms.
- 2
Step 2

Next, add the cottage cheese and mix everything again.
- 3
Step 3

Then add the baking powder and gradually begin adding the flour, mixing the dough. It should turn out soft and elastic.
- 4
Step 4

We shape the dough into something like a sausage and cut it into small pieces about 1.5–2 centimeters wide.
- 5
Step 5

Now grease your hands with sunflower oil and shape each piece into a ball.
- 6
Step 6

Pour oil into the deep fryer in such an amount that the dough ball is completely submerged. Heat the oil to 180°C and fry the baursaks in batches, turning them occasionally with a slotted spoon.

Step 7

Using a slotted spoon, remove the cooked baursaki from the deep fryer and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Now transfer the baursaki to a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy your meal!
