Loaf Stuffed with Canned Meat and Egg
Description
Suitable for both special occasions and everyday meals. The filling for the appetizer can be absolutely any kind: meat, mushroom, fish, egg, or vegetable. I suggest making a loaf stuffed with canned meat and egg. It can be served warm or chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Cut off the crusts from the loaf. Now, using a knife, your hands, or a spoon, carefully scoop out the crumb from the loaf so that you get a tube. The main thing is not to tear through the walls. We will need the crumb.
- 3
Step 3

Drain the oil from the canned goods and remove any large pits.
- 4
Step 4

Add boiled eggs grated on a coarse grater.
- 5
Step 5

Add softened butter and any fresh herbs.
- 6
Step 6

Add the bread crumb and mash everything thoroughly with a fork until smooth. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, you can add a little oil from the canned fish — it will make the filling even juicier.
- 7
Step 7

Take a loaf of bread and carefully stuff it with the filling, packing it down firmly. First, fill it from one end; when you reach the top, turn it over and add more filling from the other end.
- 8
Step 8

Now wrap the loaf tightly in foil and refrigerate for 2–3 hours to cool.
- 9
Step 9

The loaf stuffed with canned meat and egg is ready. Slice it and serve.
