Baranki with minced meat
Description
This appetizer is quick and easy to make. Bagels with minced meat filling are as simple as it gets, and if you cook them in the microwave (as I did), it’s fast too. You can even serve them on a holiday table as an appetizer—I’ve tried it, and they’re always a hit. This dish has nothing but advantages, don’t you think? :) So let’s give it a try. Here’s the recipe for bagels with minced meat filling: 1. Briefly soak the bagels in milk or broth. Be careful not to let them get completely soggy. If you have neither, that’s fine—just add more onion-and-mushroom seasoning and tomatoes to the filling for extra juiciness. 2. Now, step by step. For this simple bagel-and-minced-meat recipe, finely chop the onion and cut the mushrooms fairly small. 3. Heat a skillet with oil and sauté the onion until half done, then add the mushrooms, and a little later the minced meat. Sauté over fairly high heat until cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, and spices. 4. Now take a dish (main thing is that it fits in your microwave ;) ), arrange the bagels in it, and top them with the minced-meat-and-mushroom mixture. Place a tomato slice on top of each, and sprinkle the whole thing with grated cheese. 5. Microwave for about 15 minutes on full power. You’ll know it’s done by the amazing smell ;) The appetizer is ready. Serve right away.
