
Lamb in a pot, baked in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I think every homemaker tries to delight her family with delicious dishes, and many even have their signature recipes. For those who don't have much cooking experience, I can suggest a wonderful option and share a secret. Serve hot.

So, first we rinse the meat under running water and cut it into small cubes.

Now pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and sear the lamb over high heat on all sides until golden brown. Then add the chopped carrots and onion, fry for a couple more minutes, then transfer the meat with vegetables to the bottom of a casserole dish, season everything with salt and ground pepper.

Cut the cheese into small cubes, peel the potatoes and cut them a bit larger.

Transfer the potatoes and cheese to the casserole dish with the meat, add dried herbs, mix everything, and season with salt if needed. Pour a little water into the dish (1/3 to 1/2 of the dish), then place it in a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees Celsius for about two hours.

When the time is almost up, we chop fresh herbs and slice the garlic. Add them together with the bay leaf to the pot, mix well, and return to the oven for another 25–30 minutes. Once the dish is ready, portion it out onto plates and serve.
