Lamb with pumpkin
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Juicy lamb pairs perfectly with spicy, slightly sweet pumpkin. Anyone who enjoys such combinations in a hot dish should definitely try making it. If desired, you can marinate the meat in advance in any marinade you prefer. The finished dish can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Marinate the lamb in lemon juice and pilaf seasoning for one to two hours before baking to remove the smell of the meat.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the pumpkin and rinse it in water. Cut into 1 cm thick slices. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and place the pumpkin slices in it. Season with salt and pepper.
- 3
Step 3

Place the lamb on top. The meat should be on top so that the pumpkin can absorb its juices.
- 4
Step 4

Cover the dish with foil. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes. A couple of minutes before the end of baking, remove the foil to allow the lamb to brown.
- 5
Step 5

Remove the finished dish from the oven and let it cool slightly.
- 6
Step 6

Place on plates and serve, optionally adding a little sour cream of any fat content or unsweetened plain yogurt.
