Lamb with rice in a multicooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I think it's no secret that a multicooker is a useful kitchen appliance, and you can cook almost anything in it, including lamb with rice at home. This dish is well-known to everyone; usually it's prepared in a roaster, cauldron, or other heavy-duty cookware. But now you can forget about that, because after I tell you how to make lamb with rice in a multicooker, you won't want to cook it in any other way. With this appliance, the process becomes much faster and easier, and the dish turns out even more delicious than when cooked on a regular stove. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

First of all, we need to remove all excess (membranes and tendons) from the meat, rinse it under running water, and dry it thoroughly. After that, cut the lamb into small pieces about 2-2.5 cm wide.

Step 2

We clean and rinse the vegetables, finely chop the onion, and cut the carrot into thin strips. Take about half a head of garlic; there's no need to peel it, just remove the outer layer of skin.

Step 3

Now pour olive oil into the multicooker bowl and set it to the "Baking" mode. Once the oil is heated, add the onion and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the carrots and sauté the vegetables for another couple of minutes. Add the lamb to the bowl. Season everything with salt and pepper, and fry the meat with the vegetables for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Then we thoroughly rinse the rice in several changes of water and spread it evenly over the meat with onions and carrots. Next, carefully pour water into the pot so that it rises 1–1.5 cm above the rice, and bury half a head of garlic in the center of the rice. Now close the multicooker lid and set it to the "Pilaf" mode for one hour.

Step 5

The multicooker will prepare your dinner on its own, and when the dish is ready, it will beep. Let the dish stand for another 15 minutes on "Keep Warm," then serve the lamb with rice onto plates. Enjoy your meal!
