
Lamb with onions
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Lamb goes perfectly with caramelized onions—a great alternative to the traditional mint sauce! Simple and easy to prepare, caramelized onions make an excellent addition to lamb. Red onion works best to add color to the dish. Serve hot.

1. It's not so important to stick strictly to the proportions indicated in the recipe. Follow your own taste. The flavor of caramelized red onion greatly depends on the freshness of the onion and the type of balsamic vinegar used. Each time, the caramelized onions will have a slightly different taste.

2. Slice the red onion. Do not cut it too finely. Turn on the grill to medium heat. Place the butter in a frying pan, pour the butter into the pan and set it over medium heat. When the butter has melted, add the red onion and stir frequently for 10 minutes. Place the lamb on the grill and cook for approximately 15 minutes, turning it once during cooking.

3. Continue to sauté the red onion for another 5 minutes until it begins to caramelize. Add the onion, balsamic vinegar, and brown sugar. Continue cooking the onion, stirring constantly, for another 10 minutes, until most of the balsamic vinegar has evaporated. Serve the lamb immediately. Optionally, serve with a vegetable side dish.
