Lamb with pomegranate
Description
This recipe won't take much time. Lamb with pomegranate is very simple and quick to prepare. Pomegranate is quite a sour fruit, so the meat becomes tender, soft, and juicy. The slight tartness only enhances the flavor of the lamb. I suggest you try this lamb with pomegranate recipe. 1. Rinse the meat and cut it into small pieces. Sear in vegetable oil until a light crust forms. 2. Peel and chop the onion, then add it to the seared meat. Reduce the heat, cover with a lid, and let the meat and onion simmer gently. 3. Now extract the pomegranate seeds and squeeze juice from half of the fruit. Avoid using a juicer, as it may give the juice a bitter taste from the seeds. Do it by hand—press the seeds gently with a spoon. Pour the resulting juice into the pan with the meat and simmer for about 15 minutes. 4. Add the pomegranate seeds, spices, and salt, then simmer for another 10–15 minutes. The meat is ready. Serve hot. The best side dish is, of course, rice. Garnish the dish with fresh herbs, nuts, and pomegranate seeds—it will look beautiful and taste delicious.
