Lamb fried with onions
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Even when it seems like there's nothing left in the refrigerator, you can always come up with something tasty—after all, it's entirely possible to make a delicious and filling dinner from just two ingredients. For such occasions, I have this simple recipe for lamb fried with onions, which has saved me more than once when I was hungry. I think you can prepare any other meat the same way—it all depends on your tastes and preferences—but for me, lamb is the best option. So, to make lamb fried with onions at home, we'll need the meat itself, a couple of onions, your favorite spices, and of course salt. After that, it's just a matter of technique. 1) First, thoroughly wash the meat, dry it with a towel, and cut it into small pieces (about 40–50 grams each). Sprinkle the lamb with salt and ground pepper, then mix well. 2) Now place a frying pan on the stove and heat it well. Put the meat into the hot pan and cook it covered over low heat until all the liquid released from the lamb has evaporated. 3) If the meat isn't too tough, this frying will be sufficient. However, if the lamb is still tough, add a little water to the pan and simmer the meat until it becomes tender. 4) Next, slice the onion into half-rings and add it to the pan with the meat. Continue frying, stirring occasionally, until the onions turn golden brown. Add salt and spices to taste, fry for another minute, then remove the pan from the heat. Now our meat is ready to be served. You can serve it with any side dish you like. Enjoy your meal! The finished dish can be served right away.
