Lamb leg
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If you want to know, serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Thoroughly rinse the lamb leg under cool running water and dry with paper towels. Remove any membranes, tendons, and excess fat. The younger the lamb, the better.
- 2
Step 2

Wash and dry the mint. Remove the leaves from the stems and place them in a blender. Finely chop the leaves, but do not blend until completely smooth. Alternatively, you can simply chop the leaves with a knife.
- 3
Step 3

Transfer the prepared mint leaves to a small bowl. Add sugar, salt, balsamic and white wine vinegar, as well as olive oil. Season with pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.
- 4
Step 4

Place the lamb leg into a deep dish and pour the prepared marinade over it. Let it marinate for several hours in the refrigerator. If possible, it's best to leave it overnight.

Step 5

Take the well-marinated meat out of the refrigerator and place it on a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Put the meat in the oven to bake for an hour and a half. Every fifteen minutes, open the oven and baste the meat with the marinade.
