Banana infusion with cinnamon
Description
Choose bananas of medium ripeness for making the infusion—neither green nor overly darkened. The fruit pulp left after preparing the drink can be used as a dessert or added to cereals.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. One banana is required for 1 serving of the decoction. Ground cinnamon can be used.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the banana and slice it into pieces. Place in a saucepan, pot, or sauté pan. Many prefer to boil bananas with their peel, but this is not recommended, as fruits are often sprayed with various chemicals to speed up ripening.

Step 3

Add cinnamon sticks or ground cinnamon—2-3 pinches—to the container. At this stage, you can also add a little sugar or vanilla flavoring.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in hot water and place the container on the stove.
- 5
Step 5

Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Then strain the infusion, removing the banana pulp. You can add it to porridge or any dessert.

Step 7

Pour the decoction into a cup or glass and serve hot. It is very tasty and aromatic.
