Banana cupcake
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. This batter is similar to the one used for the popular American banana bread. But I decided to use this wonderful, moist batter for fragrant sweet cupcakes. And I must say the result was excellent: aromatic and fluffy. As for the frosting, there are plenty of variations to choose from. I went with the simplest one. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Step 1

Peel the bananas and mash them into a puree (you should get 160 g). In a bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Add banana puree, eggs, soft butter, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Chop the nuts and add them to the dough.

Step 3

Place paper liners into a 12-cup muffin tin and fill them with batter up to 3/4 full. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer.

Step 4

Let the cupcakes cool completely. Prepare any cream. I use cream cheese and mix it with sugar. Decorate the cupcakes with the cream and banana slices.
