Banana Bread in the Air Fryer
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. I'll tell you more below. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the banana and slice it into rounds. Mash the banana with a fork or a potato masher until it reaches a purée consistency. If a few small lumps remain, that’s fine.
- 3
Step 3

Add sugar to the bowl.
- 4
Step 4

Pour in the milk and vegetable oil.
- 5
Step 5

Whisk the mixture until smooth and uniform.
- 6
Step 6

Then sift the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder through a sieve into a bowl.
- 7
Step 7

Mix until homogeneous. There is no need to knead the dough heavily—only until the wet and dry parts are combined.
- 8
Step 8

Add coarsely chopped walnuts. Mix again.
- 9
Step 9

Place the dough in a dish suitable for the air fryer. I use a round silicone baking pan.
- 10
Step 10

On top, add the sliced banana and press it lightly into the dough.
- 11
Step 11

Place the pan in the air fryer. Cook in a preheated air fryer at 160°C for 18–20 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

Check for doneness with a toothpick or skewer — it should come out dry. If the bread still seems slightly underdone, bake it for another 3–5 minutes.
- 13
Step 13

Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then remove it and cool completely on a wire rack. After that, you can slice it. Air fryer banana bread is ready — enjoy!
