Banana chips (dried bananas with cinnamon)
Description
With this recipe, you can dry bananas into chips to your preferred texture: leave them slightly moist inside or make them fully crisp. They make a great addition to desserts, as well as a light snack for work or school. Instead of cinnamon, you can use any spices or seasonings you like, as the main purpose of this ingredient is to add aroma.

Step 1

1. First, slice the bananas into small pieces. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 2

2. Mix the powdered sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle the mixture over the bananas through a fine sieve. Place them in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes.

Step 3

3. Then reduce the temperature to 120 degrees and dry for another 15 minutes. After that, I recommend drying the bananas once more at 80 degrees for 50 minutes, so they become quite firm and lose any remaining moisture.

Step 4

4. Cool the bananas and carefully remove them from the parchment paper.
