Banana Panna Cotta
Description
The recipe won't take much time. When preparing banana panna cotta, you don't need to add much sugar, as this fruit is very sweet on its own. If desired, you can make the banana layer into a jelly by mixing banana puree with cream in which gelatin has been dissolved. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. You can use 10% or 20% fat cream, but not 35%.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the cream into a cauldron, saucepan, or pot, place it on the stove, and heat it almost to boiling, but do not boil.
- 3
Step 3

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and gelatin to the hot cream, stir, let stand for 5–10 minutes to allow the gelatin to swell, then stir again until the gelatin dissolves.
- 4
Step 4

Pour the cream with gelatin into small bowls, ramekins, glasses, or cups. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour to set. The smaller the container's diameter, the faster the jelly will set.
- 5
Step 5

Peel the banana and slice it. Set aside a few slices for garnish. Mash the remaining slices with the rest of the sugar into a puree using a fork, remembering to add the lemon juice, otherwise the mixture will darken.

Step 6

Once the cream has set, spread the banana purée on top, garnish with banana slices, and serve chilled.
