
Turkish baklava
Description
The pastry is easy and quick to prepare. This incredibly delicious Turkish baklava will delight everyone. Juicy, aromatic, with a rich flavor—it's simply irresistible. Mix the flour, egg, melted butter, and salt.

Add the warm milk and knead a soft, elastic dough. Place it in a plastic bag and let it rest for 30 minutes.

To prepare the filling, chop the nuts. Mix them with powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Divide the dough into 20 pieces.

Melt 200 g of butter. Roll out the pieces of dough into thin flatbreads, very thin. Brush the surface of the flatbread with butter.

Place the filling on the flatbread and roll it up. Leave a couple of centimeters of the flatbread edges free.

Do this with all the pieces of dough.

Grease the baking pan with butter and place the rolls on it. Brush the top with egg yolk.

Place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 15 minutes.

Remove from the oven and pour melted butter over the top. Return to the oven, reduce the temperature to 170 degrees, and bake for another hour.

Prepare the syrup. In a saucepan, mix water and honey. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes.

When the baklava is baked, pour the syrup over it. Let it soak for 1.5 hours.
