
Eggplants baked with garlic
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This wonderful eggplant appetizer is sure to become a staple on your table. It's very easy to prepare, and the crispy breaded rounds are sure to please everyone. Garlic adds a piquant touch to the dish. To find out, it can be served warm or chilled.

Wash the eggplants and pat them dry. Slice them into rounds about 1 centimeter thick. Salt the eggplants and let them sit so the moisture is released.

Heat a nonstick skillet on the stovetop. Pan-fry the eggplant rounds on both sides for five minutes until golden over low heat.

Crack a chicken egg into a bowl and beat it with a whisk. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix.

Mince the garlic with a press or grate it on a fine grater. Add it to the egg. Place the eggplant slices in a bowl and soak them well.

Turn the bread into crumbs using a blender. You can also use ready-made breadcrumbs. Coat the eggplant rounds on both sides in the bread or breadcrumbs.

Place the breaded eggplant on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Put in an oven preheated to 190°C and bake for 12–15 minutes.
