Whole grain and bran baguettes

Description

Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Whole grain flour and bran enrich the bread with dietary fiber and valuable microelements. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    Mix water with milk, sugar, and salt in the bread machine bucket. Add oil.

    Add the wheat and wholemeal flour mixture, sifted twice. Add the bran and yeast.

    Start kneading the dough. Let the dough rise until it triples in volume. The dough will become very airy.

    Grease the table and your hands with oil, place the dough on the table. Divide it into three parts. With your hands, stretch each part into a flat layer, then roll it up into a log, pressing each turn with your palm.

    Place the baguettes in the pan seam side down, make diagonal slashes. Let them rise under plastic wrap until doubled in size.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees, pouring half a cup of hot water onto the bottom of the oven. Bake until golden brown. Cover the finished baguettes with a linen cloth and let them cool.
