Baguette with cheese and garlic
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Prepare the ingredients according to the list. First, make the dough and leave it in a warm place to rise. Then shape it into long baguettes. Let them rise. Prepare the filling using chopped garlic, parsley, a pinch of salt, and olive oil. Garnish the baked goods with black sesame seeds, which will add a special touch to the finished baguettes. The type of cheese isn't crucial—use whichever kind you prefer. Serve cooled down or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

Add salt, sugar, and yeast to warm milk. Dissolve all ingredients.
- 3
Step 3

Add the sifted flour in small portions and knead the dough.
- 4
Step 4

When all the flour has been incorporated into the dough, add the vegetable oil and continue kneading for another 5 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

Dust the table with flour and knead the dough for another 5-7 minutes on the surface. Return it to the bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 6
Step 6

An hour has passed, the dough should have risen well in size.
- 7
Step 7

Now transfer the dough onto the counter and divide it into 3 equal parts. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Shape the baguettes. If you've never shaped bread before, do it this way: lightly flour the counter, roll out each piece of dough with a rolling pin into a rectangle, not too thin, then roll it up into a log, sealing the seam along the entire length. Place the baguette seam-side down. Repeat with the remaining dough. This shaping method will always give you beautiful, even baguettes or loaves, depending on the dough recipe. Cover the baguettes with a towel and let them rise for 40 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

While the baguettes are rising, prepare the filling with finely chopped parsley and garlic, a pinch of salt, and olive oil.
- 9
Step 9

40 minutes have passed, the baguettes have become larger and airier.
- 10
Step 10

Exactly in the center of each baguette, make a depression. I do this with my fingers, but don't press too hard—the baguettes are so airy that even light pressure creates a dent.
- 11
Step 11

Spread the garlic, parsley, and butter along the entire length of the baguette.
- 12
Step 12

Place the grated cheese on top.
- 13
Step 13

And sesame. Place the baguettes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes (depending on your oven; I baked them for 30 minutes).
- 14
Step 14

Baguettes with cheese and garlic are ready!
- 15
Step 15

Remove from the oven and serve warm or cooled.
