The baking is simple and quick. Grandma's shangi at home are a real treat made from the most ordinary ingredients. The dough, potato puree filling, and sour cream topping are incredibly delicious. Serve them hot, although they are also great when cooled.

1. Slightly warm the milk and pour it into a deep bowl. Add yeast and sugar to it.

2. After 5-10 minutes, add about one-third of the flour, having sifted it beforehand.
