Description
The recipe won't take much time. You could say potato babka is a dish invented for the lazy. If your family craves pancakes, but you don't have time to fuss over them, this version is perfect for you. It's very simple and quick to prepare, and turns out both filling and delicious! You can use any kind of meat or substitute it with lard, pork belly, or bacon. Serve hot.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Fry the diced onion and meat in vegetable oil until browned. At the end, add salt and spices to taste.

Grate the potatoes on a medium grater and squeeze out the juice.

Add the meat fried with onions, egg, flour, minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste.

Mix everything well.

Grease the pan with oil and spread the potato mixture in an even layer. Cover with a lid and cook over medium heat until the bottom is browned (10-15 minutes).

Then carefully flip it over using a plate.
