1. Peel and wash the potatoes.

2. Grate it on a medium grater (you can use a fine one for a more homogeneous texture of the potato babka when cooked in a multicooker at home) and place into a deep bowl.

3. Peel and chop the onion. It is added not so much for flavor, but to prevent the potatoes from darkening.

4. Add the onion, crack in the egg. Mix the potato mixture thoroughly.

5. Add a little flour and mix. If necessary, add a bit more flour (if the dough seems too runny to you).
